As Israel approaches the national memorial day commemorating the 1995 murder of Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin, the Gesher Organization asked Israelis what event caused the greatest rift in society.
...Rabin was assassinated on the 12th of the Hebrew month Cheshvan (November 4, 1995) and this year's official memorial day is moved up to Thursday since the Hebrew date falls close to the Sabbath. The amateur "Kempler Video" of the assassination was first made available to internet viewers last year, a full ten years after the murder....
